Formula One in Schools - We are the Champions!

We are very pleased to announce that on Saturday, June 18th, our two F1S teams placed first and second with a 1-point difference in the first-ever Formula 1 in Schools Italy competition held at Dallara Academy! Our students had to face a series of presentations and questioning by highly competent judges who are all professionals in their fields in the areas of Project Management, Design Engineering, and Enterprise. Furthermore, the students had to face off with other cars on the F1S track and we are so proud that our cars placed 1st and 3rd in the timed trials, and then our top car also won the knockout competition.

Besides showing that they are excellent learners, problem solvers, and public speakers, our students were also supportive, kind, and encouraging of each other and the other teams throughout the day. They represented every aspect of the IB learner profile and words cannot describe how proud of them we are! Now it is time to look towards the World Championships 2023 so stay tuned in the fall for more news.
