Welcome from our Head of School

I am delighted that you are curious about the International School of Bologna (ISB). Since our inception in 2006, we have been serving a future-oriented community of local and international families in Northern Italy.

Our campuses pulsate with positive energy, which translates into a sense of wonder and deep inquiry, broadening perspectives to help our students develop as individuals and make sense of the ever-changing world we live in.

As an International Baccalaureate (IB) continuum school we are committed to developing compassionate, open-minded, and critically-thinking individuals who become change agents, ready to take action that can make a positive difference in their local community and beyond.

We are proud to say that students feel happy and thrive at ISB, and I invite you to read on to learn more about our caring school community. Even better if you can visit and see for yourself what makes our learning focus so special.

We would love to welcome you!

Sincerely,

Janecke Aarnaes
